With world-class wineries, restaurants, cafes, fresh producers, breweries, distilleries, arts, crafts, tours and accommodation. The Swan Valley is more than just a journey for your taste buds…its a voyage of discovery for all your senses!

Swan Valley based, Slow Food Convivium, is a group of Western Australian members, interested in sharing the philosophy of GOOD, CLEAN and FAIR food and in being connected to a sustainable, bio-diverse food community.

I drift off to sleep dreaming about
food and what secrets tomorrow
will bring so follow your taste buds
and lose yourself in the flavours of
the Swan Valley.

Darren Simpson, Celebrity Chef, Selector Magazine

Our award winning Food and Wine Trail is a 32-kilometer scenic loop encompassing more than 150 places to eat , drink and be merry including relaxed winery cafes, busy breweries and distilleries, fine restaurants and – a trademark of the valley – many roadside stalls selling just-picked local produce.

Not that our valley is just about eating and drinking. The region is also home to world-class art galleries an array of family friendly activities including a wildlife park, cycle paths, heritage walk trails and Aboriginal cultural experiences.

As the states oldest producer we are particularly proud of our wines, which range from verdelho – a valley specialty – to other white styles, full bodied reds and some of the best fortifieds in the world.

Ultimately, what makes the valley such a special place to explore is its people. Visit a cellar door and, chances are, you’ll be greeted by the owners themselves, eager to share a yarn about the region’s 170 years of viticulture.
