Rail
Rail enthusiasts can experience the modern train service around Perth  operated by Transperth  . There are is the narrow gauge passenger services to Bunbury on the Australind. You can also ride on the Stephenson's Standard Gauge service to Kalgoorlie on the Prospector and to Northam on the Avon Link service. The Indian Pacific gives you two oceans on one of the world's longest and greatest train journeys, from Perth to Sydney.

There is also an operating tourist railway , the Hotham Valley Railway operating between Pinjarra and Dwellingup, south of Perth. another tourist service operates in Whiteman park, in the Swan Valley, just North of Perth. The rail heritage of WA can be explored at Rail Heritage WA operators of the Rail Transport Museum.
